Power plants are the source of power for the State Grid, and the development of power plant information automation and intelligence has always been the direction of electric power human efforts. The Distributed Control System (DCS) has developed rapidly since its appearance in the mid-1970s. In order to further promote the development of digitalization and informatization of power plants, and gradually realize the unification of data and information of the DCS system and follow the principle of convenient management, the use of Ethernet transmission is a major trend in the development of industrial control and automation levels in power plants.

MW Solution

The field data access layer, which is hung on the I/O layer of the DCS through an interface conversion server, can map the field data information to the data information on the DCS I/O bus, so that the DCS control information is unified and integrated. The data communication layer adopts the redundant ring network structure composed of the main control system 1# and 2#. The uplink is connected to workstations, engineer stations and application servers through MAIWE Gigabit Industrial Ethernet switch MISCOM7026, and the downlink is connected to the control and management host station through MAIWE Industrial Ethernet switch MIEN6208. The entire network topology adopts the overall structure of a two-layer redundant ring network, and the expansion of I/O sites can be carried out through cascading to realize the redundant structure of the entire system and ensure the reliability and stability of data transmission.
