Wind Power Generation System uses the wind to drive the windmill blades to rotate, and then increase the speed of rotation to promote the generator to generate electricity via the speed increaser. Its main components are wind generators, box transformers and etc., which are characterized by high reliability, long service life, non-pollution and independent power grid operation. It is a clean and non-pollution environmentally friendly energy that favored by all over the world's organizations, which has promising development prospects.
Wind power system mainly consist of wind wheel, tower base, convergence box, pitch controller, cabin controller, box transformer and transformer. It consists of the MIEN1203 in the cabin, MIEN1203 in the tower base, MIEN6208, and MISCOM6026 in the control room.
The wind turbine generates power electricity, and the voltage is raised through the box transformers, and then it’s transmitted to set-up substation through the power cable. The voltage is raised to 110kv and then transmitted to the national grid. In the engine room, the engine room controller needs to transmit the oil temperature, oil pressure, speed, propeller distance, yaw and other data to the main controller of the tower base plate. The main controller transmits the measured values to relay protection room through MAIWE ring network switch MIEN6208, and access to the background system through rack-mount switch MISCOM6026 in relay protection room for data processing analysis and storage.
It’s common to use 30 switches for wind power system and each 10 units build up a Ring to assure the data from wind turbine can be transmitted to work station. Operators can remotely monitor and control PV area equipment, which greatly reduces the workload of on-site maintenance and hidden dangers of personal safety.
